For all of us baby boomers who watch Neil set foot on the moon on that warm summer day in July 1969, meeting the goal that President Kennedy has set some 9 years earlier, it was a said day for us on Sunday. It was the Pinnacle of what our nation accomplished when everyone worked together for a common goal. And Neil Armstrong could have stolen the show and been one of those casualties of fame and power but instead, he chose a quiet life and decide to go teach engineering at a university.
But Neil was part of the greatest generation. It wasn't about him, it was about his country. He gave the glory to his country not to his pride. Somehow we've all lost touch with this simple concept. He saw his accomplishments as doing nothing but his job.
We need more great men like this as role models instead of the ones our children are growing up with that get away with stealing tax payers money via bail-outs, politicians doing vulgar acts and stealing tax payer money and athletes who cheat to gain their positions.
We at SellingRestaurants feel obligated to educate the public, our customers and our clients with information that can help them make more intelligent buying and selling decisions.
