The James Beard awards were recently held in Chicago where JuneBaby owned by Chef Edouardo Jordan won the Best New Restaurant Award Monday Night May 7, 2018. And adding to Chef Edouardo's success he picked-up the award for Best Chef in the Northwest for his first restaurant Salare.
Way on the other side of the country, Chef Gabrielle Hamilton, who runs a small restaurant called Prune in the East Village of Manhattan, won the national award for Outstanding Chef. Her innovation in the culinary arts has influenced other chef across the country.
But the winner of the Outstanding Restaurant award remains in the hands of Chef and owner Frank Stitt after none straight years of owning Highlands Bar & Grill in Birmingham, Alabama!
