This restaurant has been a Maryland tradition for over 60 years. The flaky rectangular pizza crust and thick pepperoni have stood the test of time as both larger corporate chains and locally owned shops have transitioned to rounder pies. This Pizza Business moved from its original location in Adelphi to College Park in 2010, bringing its charms, traditions and famous square pizza with it. Alongside its bestselling pizza and lasagna, the restaurant also sells other classic Italian dishes and American favorites including seafood, sandwiches and chicken.
While continuing to uphold its comfortable, family-style ownership and atmosphere, the restaurant offers an impressive amount of space that welcomes large parties, with multiple dining areas and a full bar. It has partnered with the university of Maryland for many events, and continues to satisfy families and visitors throughout College Park. Keeping in line with Pizza Restaurant’s policy of fresh ingredients and homemade dishes, the meat used in the restaurant is all cut by hand. The thick pepperoni that made the company famous was originally used to save time, since using thicker slices of meat meant the job was done faster, according to the owner.
Across the street from the restaurant will be the new Town Hall for the City of College Park and will consist of the following space;

The restaurant is connected to a 300+ space garage that supplies ample parking for the restaurant and Downtown College Park area.
The bar seats 12 at the bar and another 50 seats on the floor area. There is an 8-tap beer tower and large screen TV’s throughout this room. There is a large keg box situated behind the bar with a direct draw to the tap system. The floor is poured concrete and has hard wood paneling along with stone finishes.
The dining room seats 75 with booths and tables. A large screen TV is in this room also.
The private dining room has folding doors into the dining room and seats 60 people. There is a large collection of Maryland memorabilia as well as local High Schools. The restaurant has 6 POS stations.
The kitchen has a 28’ hood with 2 double stack Bakers Pride Pizza ovens, 6 burner stove, char broiler, flat top grill, 3, 2 basket fryers, steam table, sandwich table and large prep area. There is another 7’ hood with burners underneath. Numerous walk in Fridges and Freezers along with reach in fridges are plentiful.
