It kills me when restaurant owners just sign leases without thinking about the results. When I sell a restaurant, I make sure the language in the lease allows the current owner to transfer his or her interests to another buyer. Many times this language is not included in the current lease and owners have a very difficult time selling their restaurant. In this video, I outline some important tips for signing a lease.
